The Role: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £25,500 Basic + bonus

Location: Champion House, Derby

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 Monday-Friday

The role will include meeting busy month end deadlines. It is a fast environment where multi-tasking and attention to detail is a must. The role will cover work a broad spectrum of tasks across the accounts transactional team.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for all items detailed below.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Portal which contains customer refunds and payments
  • Timely and accurate credit of sales order on request
  • Support for customer refund and invoice queries including telephone calls
  • Allocation of customer finance payments
  • Reconciliation and analysis of daily debtors list
  • Management of the response to fines received in the post
  • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts including management of rules for matching
  • Other Ad Hoc tasks as required
  • Demonstrate behaviours in a style that upholds the Motorpoint Core Values.

  • Well organised, logical approach to workload with the ability to manage several processes and tasks at the same time and prioritise accordingly.
