Location: Pentcaitland, East Lothian (12 miles southeast of Edinburgh)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Department: Commercial Finance

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000, dependent on experience

Join a Growing Finance Team We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Assistant to support our client's commercial finance operations. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role with a strong emphasis on transactional finance and credit control. Your Key Responsibilities
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple accounts.
  • Sales Ledger: Process customer invoices, allocate payments, and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Purchase Ledger: Match, batch, and code supplier invoices; prepare timely payment runs.
  • Credit Control: Monitor aged debt, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Purchase Orders: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring proper authorisation and invoice matching.
  • Invoicing: Generate accurate sales invoices aligned with contractual terms.
  • Commercial Finance Support: Assist with reporting, margin analysis, and broader finance initiatives.
