What you'll get up to!

In this role, you’ll take care of a variety of important finance tasks, including:

  • Processing and allocating bank receipts (both client and office accounts)
  • Setting up and checking electronic payments (CHAPS, BACS, FastPay, international transfers), including AML checks
  • Posting payments, receipts and transfers into our finance system
  • Managing transactions for our client bank accounts
  • Reviewing and preparing cheque requests
  • Investigating and resolving any issues from daily bank reconciliations
  • Supporting solicitors and other staff with financial transactions
  • Preparing cash and cheque banking
  • Calculating interest on client accounts
  • Filing documentation electronically for audit purposesAssisting with the firm’s annual audit
  • Joining team meetings and helping improve our processes
  • Supporting any other finance tasks as needed
