Accounts Assistant – Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: circa £30,000 per annum

Are you detail oriented, organised, and ready to take the next step in your finance career? We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our clients busy Administration team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the accountant and ensuring smooth financial control across the business

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts and year end preparation
  • Reconciling and clearing Nominal Ledger accounts
  • Managing contracts and ensuring procedures are followed
  • Inputting and coding cash book payments/receipts
  • Maintaining petty cash records and preparing bank reconciliations
  • Completing weekly sales submissions and monthly reconciliations
  • Allocating manufacturer support and chasing outstanding items
  • Preparing debt lists and aftermarket daily figures
  • Controlling the hire fleet (invoicing, asset register, on/off hires)
  • Supporting the Purchase Ledger and carrying out ad hoc analysis
