Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to finalisation.
• Supervise audit teams and ensure compliance with methodologies.
• Review audit workpapers and adherence to UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards.
• Identify and evaluate audit risks; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients to gather information and address audit queries.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports.
• Support the year-end accounts package and liaise with tax teams as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit (60%)

• Lead and manage audit engagements, from planning to finalisation

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders


• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports


• Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting records and supporting schedules
