Accounts Administration Assistant

Location: Hereford, Herefordshire, HR4 7PU
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits!
Contract: Full Time, Permanent 40 hours per week

We re now recruiting for an Accounts Administration Assistant to join our busy finance team at our Hereford headquarters.

This is a great opportunity for someone who s recently left school or college and wants to begin a career in finance. You don t need previous experience just enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

We ll teach you everything you need to know about how a finance department runs day to day, from handling invoices and payments to understanding how money moves through a business.

If you show commitment and a knack for numbers, there s scope to grow and even work toward a formal qualification (like AAT) in the future.

What you ll be doing:

  • Supporting the finance team with daily admin tasks
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Processing payments and invoices
  • Helping with bank and statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with inter-job transfers and applications for payment
  • Providing general support across the accounts and admin functions

What we re looking for:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • A good communicator who enjoys being part of a team
  • Confident using basic IT tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Reliable, organised, and eager to learn

You don t need to have all the answers yet we re here to help you develop your skills and confidence.
