A leading financial services provider is seeking a Team Leader to oversee core financial operations within the University of Cambridge Finance Division. The role entails managing Accounts Payable, Receivable, Cash Management, and Helpdesk teams, ensuring timely financial service delivery and robust controls. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial services along with supervisory experience. This position allows for hybrid working and offers a robust benefits package, including 36 days annual leave and a defined benefits pension scheme.
Pure are delighted to be working in partnership with the University of Cambridge Finance Division as they continue on an exciting Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT) Project which is highly significant and will have a University-wide impact. The project forms part of an overall Finance Transformation Programme (FTP).
The Finance Division are seeking three Team Leaders to make an impact across the key financial service functions.
The Accounting Services Team Leader is responsible for managing the delivery of core financial operations across the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Helpdesk teams as required. The role ensures the accurate and timely delivery of financial transactions and services in line with policies.
Responsibilities include strategic and operational leadership across the key accounting service functions, supporting the team leads in ensuring robust financial controls, driving process improvements and managing team members.
This position will be offered on a contract basis until 31st December 2027.
The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. The arrangement is subject to change and will not form part of the contractual terms of the role.
