Job description

What you will do

This role sits within the Group Accounting & Reporting (A&R) department within the Finance Function. The Accounting & Reporting Function ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual ledger close and reporting under IFRS and local GAAP requirements and compliance to Solvency II regulation within Allianz Partners.

The Accounting & Reporting Governance Manager, reporting to the Regional A&R Governance Manager, is accountable for the financial disclosures of the legal entities in their scope, acting in compliance with respect to Environmental, social, and corporate principles established by the group

  • Ensure that all periodic financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly) are timely disclosed in accordance with group internal deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the consistency and appropriateness in accounting methods
  • Perform financial analysis with the ultimate aim to ensure quality and reliability of financial reports (balance sheet accounts, monitor periodically the profit and loss accounts and ensure that proper and correct bookkeeping have been implemented
  • Provide a reliable situation of the financial statements and of the profitability of the legal companies under responsibility
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure inputs are timely and with accuracy delivered
  • Ensure a timely and proper execution of internal audits & closure of related findings
  • Support implementation of Group initiatives at legal entity level, and support and locally drive transformation as required by the company's strategy

  • Be adept at data analysis and presentation and being able to establish trends and identify data quality issues

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the following tools: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SAP GRP, SAP ECCS, Power BI
