Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education provider to recruit an experienced Accounting Lecturer to support their Sixth Form team in Loughborough. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality A Level Accounting education and support students in achieving their academic goals.

The role is 30 hours per week on a temporary contract starting September, teaching AQA A Level Accounting to Year 13 students and assisting examination preparation in a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience teaching A Level Accounting.
• Ability to teach Year 13 and A Level students.
• Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or related subject including Accounting.
• Qualified teacher status.
• Excellent communication and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Teach AQA A Level Accounting to Sixth Form students.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the A Level Accounting curriculum.
• Support students with exam preparation and progress.
• Teach and support Year 13 students as required.
• Plan lessons, activities and assessments per curriculum.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain records of student achievement and progress.
• Collaborate with Sixth Form team and staff.

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education provider to recruit an experienced Accounting Lecturer to support their Sixth Form team in Loughborough. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality A Level Accounting education and support students in achieving their academic goals.

Location: Loughborough

Salary: upto £36 Per hour

Contract: Temporary

Start Date: September

Hours: 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Teach AQA A Level Accounting to Sixth Form students.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the A Level Accounting curriculum.
• Support students with their academic development and examination preparation.
• Teach and support Year 13 students, where required.
• Work confidently with the AQA A Level Accounting specification.
• Plan lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
• Work collaboratively with the Sixth Form team and other teaching staff.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment.

About You

• Essential experience teaching A Level Accounting.
• Experience teaching Year 13 would be desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the AQA A Level Accounting specification.
• Ability to confidently teach A Level students.
• A degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a relevant subject, including Accounting within the degree.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• Experience teaching Business or Economics would be desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
