Job summary

The Growth Company Education and Skills team is seeking a dedicated Skills Development Tutor to design, deliver, and improve training across Accounting Apprenticeships (Levels 2–4). The role focuses on positive learner outcomes and exam readiness, delivering structured AAT sessions while supporting progression.

This is a hybrid role with two days at Warren Bruce Court, Trafford Park, and other days from home.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AAT modules up to Level 3 with development to Level 4.
• Minimum 3 years vocational finance experience.
• 1–2 years teaching, learning and assessment experience with OFSTED knowledge.
• Up-to-date subject expertise and relevant AAT or equivalent qualifications.
• Diploma in Education and Training or willingness to achieve it.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver sequential face-to-face and remote learning sessions up to Level 4 in line with Accounting Standards and AAT.
• Manage client caseloads to retain business and support learner progression.
• Assess learner work and provide structured feedback with collaborative development objectives.
• Set, monitor and review learner progress targets and KPI achievement.
• Track learner progress against KSB outcomes and apply support funds as needed.
• Drive curriculum improvements based on stakeholder feedback and ensure safety and safeguarding processes.
