A leading international education provider in Cardiff is seeking a Tutor to join the Business, Law and Humanities Department. The successful candidate will develop and teach accounting, finance, and statistics modules, ensuring student-centered learning. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, teaching qualification, and experience in UK education. Competitive salary up to £39,605 per annum with opportunities for professional growth.

Cardiff University International Study Centre (ISC) is a new and exciting development, which launched in September 2020. You would be working in a culture of enhancing learning, teaching and assessment through a developmental approach, which for you will mean autonomy, innovation, and development opportunities.
As a Tutor in the Business, Law and Humanities Department in the ISC, you will develop and/or teach on accounting, finance and statistics modules on the level‑3 International Foundation Year (IFY), level‑4 International Year 1 (IY1) or level‑6 Pre‑Master’s Programme (PMP), or on a combination of both of these programmes. The Centre also has a range of modules in other disciplines that you may be requested to deliver if you have the appropriate experience. You will play a key role in the operations of the Department and the wider ISC by contributing to teaching classes and the development of teaching materials and assessments when necessary. You’ll empower students to reach the level they need to in order to progress into university by providing student‑centred, engaging, and innovative learning. You’ll also undertake marking and feedback on formative and summative assessments.
