Salary £40,777-£46,142 Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Preston

Join us as an Accountant in the Schools Finance Team contributing to the management of our team and supporting schools across Lancashire to effectively manage their finances.

In this role you will:
  • Deliver financial support services to schools across Lancashire.
  • Manage a team of Finance Officers, ensuring high quality performance and effective delivery of services to customers.
  • Contribute to service developments.
  • Deliver training to internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
  • You’ll be qualified to degree or professional qualification level in a relevant subject and/or have significant vocational experience at a demonstrably professional level.
  • You’ll have great communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • You’ll have the ability to be assertive and decisive whilst remaining approachable and professional.
