Job summary

Just Develop iT is seeking an Accountant to join the team at our head office in Segensworth, Fareham. The successful candidate will handle cashflow, reconciliations, payroll, VAT returns and monthly/annual accounts for the Property department.

You will work in an office-based role, coordinating with auditors and management to analyse data and provide financial information, while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and perform complex calculations.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Capable of managing workload and meeting deadlines.
• Positive and proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and manage cashflow
• Bank reconciliations
• Invoice approvals
• Credit card reconciliation
• Monthly and annual accounts preparation for the Property department
• Overseeing purchase ledger and weekly payment runs
• Month end journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Management of financial systems and reporting
• Budgets and forecasting
• Monthly payroll processing
• Cashflow forecasting and drawdown requests
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Quarterly internal financial reporting
• Liaising with auditors for year-end requests
• Liaising with management to analyse data and provide financial information
• Maintaining CRM
• Valuation reports
