Overview

Reed Finance is recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in a highly competitive and growing industry. They are seeking a Part Time Accountant with a full ACA or ACCA qualification and practicing certificate to support in launching and scaling a new service offering for them.

This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and enhancing financial practices within the industry and is an exciting opportunity for the right person to support and grow with the business, as they strive to become the number one provider in the industry. The role will be on a part time basis, expected around 20 hours per week, however this working pattern can be flexible.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and sign off Accountant’s Reports in accordance with requirements, using your ACA or ACCA qualification to formally certify compliance.
  • Design and refine internal processes for delivering Accountant’s Reports, including engagement documentation, KYC procedures, and audit templates.
  • Utilize purpose-built tools and AI-supported workflows to streamline audit preparation and reporting, supporting clients through the process, translating technical requirements into clear and practical advice.
  • Review and evaluate client bank reconciliations and client money handling practices.
  • Collaborate across teams, presenting findings and recommendations clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with a valid practicing certificate.
  • Strong working knowledge of client accounting principles and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in cloud accounting platforms and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in auditing or preparing reports for regulatory or compliance purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
