Job summary

Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a well known organisation in the South of the Lake District. Due to internal promotion our client are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team and lead a small team.

You will manage daily finance operations, prepare month-end accounts for two sites, perform variance analysis, handle payroll, VAT returns, and ensure accurate reporting, with responsibilities including stock reconciliations and ad hoc duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Experience in Motor Trade/Dealership accounting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day to day management of the finance operations and internal functions.
• Prepare the monthly management accounts and balance sheets for the 2 sites.
• Responsible for detailed reporting and variance analysis including commentary.
• Monthly prepayments and accruals.
• Managing stock reconciliations and funding.
• Monthly payroll for the 2 different sites along with payroll journals.
• Calculate and manage bonus and incentives.
• VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
