The team is dedicated to supporting the success of sponsored students studying across the United Kingdom - providing guidance, supervision, and administrative assistance from admission through to graduation. Are you the right person for the job?
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a professional accounting qualification
  • You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting, including at least 5 years in a similar role, ideally within the education sector
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experienced with financial systems such as Xero and Checkkeeper
  • You demonstrate accuracy, integrity, and strong attention to detail, with excellent time management and communication skills
  • You're proactive, analytical, and capable of building strong working relationships across teams and stakeholders
  • You possess strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills, and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
What will your role look like?
  • Prepare, review, and manage financial documents such as invoices, bills, cheques, and account statements
  • Oversee monthly student allowances and process tuition fee payments for sponsored students
  • Assist with budget preparation, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations
  • Complete purchase orders, process business expenses, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial procedures
  • Verify account balances, deposits, and transactions, identifying and rectifying discrepancies
  • Contribute to annual budget preparation, year-end analysis, and creditor/debtor reporting
  • Assist senior finance colleagues with records, statements, and reporting requirements
  • Manage payroll and ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data
