We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. As a full-time Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely financial reporting to support the company’s operations and growth.
Responsibilities
- Full Set of Accounts: Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger. Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
- Inter-Company Reconciliation: Coordinate with group companies on inter-company billings and reconciliations.
- Accounting Schedules & Reconciliation: Prepare accounting schedules and perform all necessary reconciliations during the month-end close.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- GST Filings: Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers as required.
- Deadline & Multitasking: Manage tight reporting deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the company.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in an audit firm (essential).
- Hands-on experience in managing the full set of accounts (essential).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
