Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is seeking an Accountant for a permanent role in the UK manufacturing sector. You will prepare and maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close alongside cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will hold ACCA/CIMA/ACA partial or full qualification, have experience in financial reporting, and be proficient in Excel. A strong eye for detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting and analysis within manufacturing/industrial sector.
• Experience or involvement in P&L reporting.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A qualification or part-qualification in accountancy (e. ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Experience or Involvement in P&L.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £34,000 to £36,500, dependent on the level of experience.
