Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an Accountant for a manufacturing client. You will handle day-to-day financial tasks, prepare monthly management accounts, and conduct variance analysis to explain performance.

Work will involve journals, reconciliations, month-end close, SOX compliance, collaboration with P2P and other finance teams, and opportunities for study support within a hybrid pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting or financial accounting.
• Knowledge of month-end reporting processes.
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform variance analysis and explain financial performance.
