They are now looking for an Accountancy Assistant to join the team and play a key role in keeping their clients compliant, informed, and supported. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the detail of tax work but values a flexible, modern approach to working.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Preparing and submitting CIS returns and self-assessment tax returns for a range of clients.
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end company accounts and corporation tax returns.
  • Managing and updating client files, ensuring all data is accurate and HMRC-compliant.

  • Liaising directly with HMRC on client queries and submissions.
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team and assisting with client communications.
What You\'ll Need
  • Proven experience working within an accountancy practice or tax administration role.
  • Working knowledge of CIS, self-assessment, and limited company accounts.
  • Ideally AAT qualified (or working towards AAT Level 3 or higher).
  • Strong IT skills — comfortable using accounting or tax software (Nomisma, Capium, Xero, or similar).
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Good communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, organised mindset — able to work independently in a small but growing team.
What\'s on Offer
  • Up to £32,000 per annum based on experience.
  • Hybrid working: Fully remote considered for the right candidate.
  • Flexible hours
  • Supportive, down-to-earth team that values initiative and trust.
  • Opportunity to grow with the business.
