The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our Komatsu Customer Support Centre (KCSC) as an Account Support Representative.

In this role, you will proactively manage a portfolio of construction customers to drive customer engagement, retention, and aftermarket sales growth. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll anticipate customer needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver timely, value-based solutions that keep their operations running efficiently.

You will partner with sales, technical, and marketing teams to provide responsive, insight-led support ensuring every interaction adds value to our customers' business and strengthens Komatsu's position as a trusted partner.

Role Located: Welshpool, WA

Roster: Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage a defined portfolio of customers, maintaining regular contact through structured engagement plans.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships by providing proactive sales support and aftermarket solutions.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and follow up to maximise conversion and retention.
  • Use CRM and data insights to forecast needs, identify trends, and drive growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Promote Komatsu's lifecycle value proposition and support our commitment to operational excellence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in customer account management, sales, or parts/service support.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify customer opportunities and follow through.
  • Commercial awareness and comfort working with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
  • Previous experience in construction, mining, or industrial equipment sectors is highly regarded.
