Job Description

Be the primary contact for key stakeholders to communicate the value proposition and execute the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships and maximize opportunities based on strong account plans.

Customer Selling and Relationship Management:

  • Drive sales by owning customer engagement for target HCPs across channels, reflecting customer preferences and leveraging available content and engagement channels.
  • Develop SMART pre-call objectives aligned with territory plans and brand strategy.
  • Handle objections effectively, consistently gaining a logical call to action or close.
  • Educate medical providers and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and develop disease state experts to build advocacy aligned with the territory plan.

Market Intelligence:

  • Organize and manage stakeholder meetings.
  • Differentiates AbbVie's value proposition from competitors.
  • Communicate effectively and adapt style based on customer insights.

Clinical and Market Knowledge Development:

  • Deep understanding of the product's role within the NHS healthcare economy.
  • Navigate NHS ecosystem barriers and identify collaborative opportunities.
  • Share best practices to enhance business success.
  • Develop and implement growth plans for current and future roles.
  • Demonstrate expertise in disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence.
  • Understand the multi-stakeholder environment.

Territory Management:

  • Analyze sales reports and field intelligence to adapt the territory plan.
  • Collaborate with medical colleagues to support customer needs and regional/national programs.
  • Develop a business plan aligned with brand strategy.
  • Target resources effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Solutions-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Strategic mindset and data analytics proficiency.
  • Experience in immunology or specialty secondary care is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong customer engagement skills, capable of engaging remotely and in person.
  • Resilience, curiosity, self-awareness, and a passion for growth and improvement.
  • Commitment to achieving goals despite obstacles, with a strong work ethic.
