Job summary

Inizio Engage is building a new Primary Care Account Specialist team to support AstraZeneca Respiratory initiatives, with Coventry and Herefordshire locations. You will develop trusted customer relationships, drive engagement across Primary Care and help improve patient outcomes through informed account planning.

The role focuses on navigating NHS pathways, implementing evidence-based guidelines and delivering against strategic account objectives in a compliant, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare account management or pharma-led account teams.
• Strong understanding of NHS pathways, guidelines and formulary processes.
• Ability to engage with practices, PCNs and local health networks.

Responsibilities

• Support awareness and implementation of evidence-based guidelines and market access positioning through compliant account engagement.
• Drive commercial success by delivering against clear commercial and account objectives.
• Identify and develop account opportunities aligned with local healthcare priorities and unmet healthcare needs.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across practices, PCNs and wider local healthcare networks.
• Identify opportunities for approved partnership working and healthcare improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to bring together the right expertise and resources to drive the business.
• Identify opportunities using advance data and digital capabilities.
• Bring NHS and market access knowledge to deliver credible customer engagement.
• Operate to the highest standards of compliance within governance, SLAs, SOPs and ABPI Code of Practice.

Inizio Engage is delighted to be recruiting to build an exciting new Primary Care Account Specialist team to provide services in support of an AstraZeneca Respiratory programme.

We're looking for talented individuals to join this team from the very beginning, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a significant new team build and help establish its success from day one.

As a Primary Care Account Specialist, you'll play an important role in bringing this new team to life, building trusted customer relationships, driving impactful engagement across Primary Care and contributing to better outcomes for patients living with respiratory disease.

So, what will you be doing?

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues, bringing together the right expertise and resources to drive the business.
• Identify opportunities using advance data and digital capabilities.
• Bring strong NHS and market access knowledge, including experience navigating local formularies, guidelines and healthcare pathways.
• Maintain strong clinical and therapy-area expertise to deliver credible, informed customer engagement.
• Operate to the highest standards of compliance, working within AstraZeneca governance, SLAs, SOPs and the ABPI Code of Practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical professional to play a key role in the launch of a brand-new Primary Care team. Bringing strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the NHS, you'll identify opportunities, navigate local healthcare priorities and build trusted relationships across your accounts. Combining customer insight with strategic account planning, you'll identify opportunities, build stakeholder relationships and deliver effective account plans that support both business objectives and local healthcare priorities.
