Job Description

Purpose:

The Account Manager Specialist, Operations Contract Manufacturing (OCM) will be responsible for supporting the biologics contract manufacturing business. The position will be accountable for interactions with customers and general customer support, project management as required, invoicing and tracking of purchase orders. This role will need to understand and manage contracts and contract deliverables for third party programs as well as have a basic understanding of biologics manufacturing. The position will be required to interact with internal stake holders from Manufacturing, Product Development Science and Technology, Quality Organizations, Logistics and Finance departments to ensure the success of the contract programs. This may entail driving resolutions should issues arise on the programs as well as the coordination of timely communications. Assist with contract extensions and the creation of new scopes of work as required.

Responsibilities
  • Create client invoices and ensure payments are received in the time frame specified in the agreement.
  • Act as a business liaison between the customer and project teams to manage expectations and deliverables. Coordinate with project teams as required to ensure proper execution of the scope of work.
  • Per project needs, manage a global project team to ensure program scope and timelines are met. Ensure proper communication between the team and the client.
  • Understand and help resolve issues or delays around project scope, manufacturing and delivery. Must be comfortable elevating issues to management when required.
  • Create new scopes of work when requested, while coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure enablement of execution on the requested work.
  • Coordinate Steering Committee meetings for assigned programs and participate in Business Review Meetings, ensuring proper communication between all teams.
  • Actively participate in the development of Financial Operating Plan, Updates, and LRP, and ensure financial goals are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is required
  • Travel is required up to 15% of time.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience: manufacturing, engineering, project management, quality or science and technology.
  • The individual needs a broad business perspective, knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficiency with common program management communication software tools (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel) and techniques (i.e. plans, schedules, presentations, etc.).
  • Strong project experience and an ability to influence others are essential.
  • Leadership ability with good communication skills including listening, verbal, presentation and written. Exceptional workload management and organizational skills.
  • Issue identification and strong problem analysis and solution development skills.Demonstrated team player and ability to work in a globally oriented work environment.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
