We're excited to be expanding the reach of our leading Law portfolio into the Professional law sector. To achieve this, we have established a specialised sales team with deep sector and product knowledge and we're looking for an energetic and passionate Account Manager to help expand our customer reach. In this role, you'll develop and implement a business strategy for your territory, maintain and expand existing accounts, and identify new opportunities. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs and present tailored proposals that showcase the value of Oxford Law Pro and our wider Academic Law portfolio. You'll use a consultative sales approach to build strong partnerships, meet annual sales targets, and provide market insights to inform our wider strategy. This includes tracking leads, researching prospects, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure our offerings remain competitive and customer-focused. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of our products, the external market, and a commitment to upholding OUP's ethical standards.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:

Qualifications
  • Previous experience of sales or marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly skilled in using software packages such as Excel, with a proven aptitude to learn and work with new systems
  • Ability to effectively manage a high volume, complex workload through prioritisation of tasks in line with departmental objectives.
  • Experience of the legal sector (desirable)
