Overview

Are you interested in a fast-paced role in the heart of our business? Our Major Risks Practice Division based out of London office is seeking an organised and technically minded Account Manager to join our brilliant team.

Our Major Risks Practice Division is composed of strong Account Managers who take pride in providing the best possible service for our clients, all driven to succeed. If you share this attitude, we look forward to hearing from you.

You will be responsible for providing account servicing support for your accounts while maintaining profitability.

This role will report directly to an MRP Team Leader, and you will work with a number of Directors on the accounts you support. Working alongside the wider team and our strong client base, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within Gallagher.

How you'll make an impact

  • Handling the full life cycle of accounts management – from new business involvement to conversion and renewal.
  • Building positive relationships with clients to fully meet and understand their needs.
  • Providing support to assigned accounts across multiple trades and industries, covering many classes of insurance.
  • Day-to-day handling of accounts and any queries or projects that may arise.
About You

  • Holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert CII/Dip CII is desirable, as is being educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Larger commercial to corporate insurance cross-class experience is desirable.
  • Experience working to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieving SLAs.
  • Risk-aware in handling customer information, able to recognise potential risks and seek advice when required.
  • Experience in rapport-building and providing solid customer service with outstanding communication skills.
  • Due diligence and process-driven, able to meet deadlines, plan, organise, and analyse information.
  • Highly accurate with strong attention to detail, using initiative when assisting team members.
  • Fully proficient in Acturis.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
