Job description

The Account Manager will play an important role in overseeing a major multi-national client’s Formula 1 partnership, with a strong focus on hospitality delivery and partnership management. Acting as the primary day-to-day client contact, the Account Manager will ensure the seamless execution of all hospitality programmes and partnership activations, consistently meeting objectives and exceeding expectations.

With a combination of client servicing expertise and a passion for world-class hospitality, the role requires proactive relationship management, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders. The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring all activations are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget, while maintaining clear communication with the client and internal teams.

The role will be based at Right Formula’s offices in Battersea, London, and will require international travel to approximately 10-12 events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of client’s partnership objectives and liaison with clients at relevant levels.
  • Support on the strategic development, implementation and execution of global activations across multiple markets and customised programs that meet client objectives across brand and product initiatives.
  • Manage the delivery of project workstreams to a specific schedule and within the agreed budget using proven project management tools.
  • Manage the operational planning and delivery of guest hospitality events, including not but not limited to: end-to-end guest management, supplier sourcing and management, gifting and collateral sourcing and management, development of run of shows, HSSE considerations, onsite management.
  • Budget creation and management of all global marketing activities for the client.
  • Management and tracking of all contractual partnership assets.
  • Work with the account team to develop and pitch fresh and innovative ideas to the client.
  • Generate accurate reports and status notifications, including feedback and financial reporting to the Account Director / Group Account Director.
  • Support with management and coordination of the account team, ensuring that no piece of work is delivered below Right Formula’s high standards.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Significant experience within either property, agency or client-based account management experience in the sports and entertainment industries.
  • Working in Formula 1 or other motorsport is essential.
  • Experience of partnership management with a strong focus on activation planning and hospitality delivery.
  • Prior experience managing day-to-day relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, agencies, rights holders and suppliers.
  • Onsite logistical experience to deliver activations and hospitality programmes.
  • Proven track record of building and managing budgets, and project related reports for the client.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
