Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated Account Manager to join a leading training consultancy, on a 1-year maternity cover contract, to work with and build relationships with a range of clients across a variety of industry sectors. Our client provides a supportive and can‑do culture, with a commitment to understanding client needs and providing outstanding customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop account management skills in a highly supportive environment, with the necessary comprehensive training and development programmes provided to build a successful career in sales and account management. They seek ambitious, confident applicants willing to embrace responsibility and new challenges, whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all areas.

Building rapport with key decision makers in a variety of sectors and sizes of businesses is at the heart of this role. Therefore, along with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, expert and confident communication skills, with a deep understanding of customer service, are required.

MS Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint, and strong administrative skills are required.

Based: Remote – with 1 day bi‑weekly in SW London office

Holiday: 25 days holiday

Hours: 9am – 5:30pm

Start: ASAP

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Sell programmes and tailored solutions
  • Respond to enquiries
  • On‑going client account management
  • Diary management
  • Organising & coordinating in‑person and virtual client training
  • Organising open training programmes delivered virtually
  • Client communication over Teams / Zoom as necessary
  • Formatting materials in Word
  • Process bookings received
  • Raise sales invoices
