The Role of Account Manager

As Account Manager you will take ownership of 25-30 large accounts, grossing around 1.5m in revenue per year. Your role will be to nurture those relationships and ultimately retain and grow account revenues by upselling and cross‑selling additional solutions. Many of your accounts will be telecoms companies, so if you have sold to telecoms companies in the past, that will be highly desirable.

Around 60% of your time will be spent hunting for new revenue from your clients.

The services which you can sell are all complimentary to one another and include research (sold on a subscription basis), consultancy, data and event solutions.

Requirements for this Account Manager position
  • 8+ years professional b2b sales experience
  • 3+ years' experience of selling research solutions or business intelligence to large corporations
