A leading Public Relations consultancy is looking for Account Executives and Account Managers with strong writing abilities and a background in Finance. Your role will include media relations, content development, and client support. Ideal candidates should have a degree from a Russell Group university and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This position offers a hybrid working model and various benefits including commissions for new clients and private health coverage.
Our client has a strong journalist background with their CEO being a former journalist for The Economist, Euromoney, The Times etc, so they are looking for candidates to have an English/History/Philosophy degree (essentially a course that indicates you are a strong writer).
Our client is a London-based Public Relations and Digital Marketing Consultancy dedicated to enhancing the reputation of their clients on the issues vital to their success. Founded in 2012, the company has a team of experienced communications professionals who offer a range of services including media relations, digital communications, content creation, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement. The company prides itself on its ability to provide bespoke solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of each client, taking a collaborative approach where clients are involved and informed throughout the process. Their clients range across fintech, property, healthcare, ESG and financial services.
They will add you to a team of experts with a wealth of experience working with businesses of all sizes, from start‑ups to large multinationals, and who are committed to delivering measurable results that help clients achieve their goals.
Account Executives: £30,000 – £36,000 per annum. Account Managers: £36,000 – £42,000 per annum.
The team has a focus on general media relations, corporate PR work and digital marketing work. Experience in Canva/creating graphics/social media is preferable. Your role will be varied and give you an in‑depth introduction to the world of comms, PR and digital marketing. The general role will involve research, media data‑based management, supporting client teams on accounts, initial drafts of reports on activity and liaison with the media on forward features, special reports and surveys.
You have a degree in areas such as Economics, Finance, Business, English, History, Communications/Media and Politics, from a Russell Group university. You possess a sound understanding of financial and professional services industries, excellent writing skills from releases to succinct media content across all mediums, and an understanding of media, social and economic trends and their impact on client business. You demonstrate integrity in all aspects of work, ambition to rise rapidly through the firm, the ability to work proactively and flexibly in a team structure, readiness to take day‑to‑day lead in supporting the wider team with account activity, and previous experience in business/finance/tech is desirable.
Personality: an excellent, hard‑working team player, happy to work 3 days in the office, looking to be part of a growing company and have a voice. If you bring on a new client, you earn a 7.5% commission of whatever the client pays per month for a year.
We have an office at White City Soho House; a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two days from home. The office is dog friendly, offers free breakfast and has ‘thirsty Thursdays’ cocktails.
