Handle Recruitment are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our clients global marketing agency working across F1 Partnerships.
Salary: £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Hammersmith - 3 days in office
About Our Client: Our client is a leading global agency with expertise across live and filmed entertainment, digital media, publishing, sponsorship, endorsements, media finance, fashion, brand management, product licensing, and philanthropy. Known for a collaborative culture and exceptional client service, it combines global scale with a small-agency feel that encourages teamwork, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit.
This is an exciting role supporting multiple accounts across our client's global F1 partnerships. Although the clients are based internationally, the accounts are managed from the London office. Working closely with the London team, as well as colleagues in Abu Dhabi and Munich, the Account Manager will provide strategic alignment, in-market expertise, and real-time communication with the client. Reporting into a Senior Account Director and an Account Director, the Account Manager will draw upon their sports marketing knowledge and experience to advise and guide the client on creative strategies and high-impact activations for their sponsorship portfolio. Our client is seeking someone who not only demonstrates strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, but also brings confidence, passion, and fresh, innovative ideas that capture attention.

Main Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Supporting the Account Director with day-to-day management of the account
  • Campaign planning, research, and idea generation
  • Effective management of sponsorship rights, ensuring full delivery, activation and measurement
  • Account administration, budget tracking, and client reporting
  • Supporting global markets on best-practice activation of the partnership
  • Event management and logistics, including talent appearances, content shoots, internal engagement, and VIP customer experiences
  • Liaison with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Monitoring trends across sport, digital, and technology to drive the account forward
  • Attending networking events and supporting business development when required
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Agency or in-house experience is essential
  • Experience working on F1 partnerships is required
  • Sponsorship experience is preferable, including exposure to strategic decision-making, campaign planning, communications, asset development and amplification, and hospitality/event management
  • Experience managing experiential or on-the-ground activations is preferred
  • Global market liaison experience is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent client servicing, account handling, and project management capabilities
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • A strong team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Creative flair with a passion for ideas and innovative thinking
  • Confident presentation skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail
