The Role

We’re looking for someone who will create an immediate impact within our company and across one of our client accounts, delivering events within various disciplines, including motorsport, days and conferences.

Reporting to the Account Director, the Events Account Manager will be responsible for organising and implementing events throughout the year. So, a willingness to travel is a must.

A solid understanding of global brand sponsorship is essential to identifying client partnership objectives and how events support their broader sponsorship strategy and business goals. You should be able to plan several events simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to multitask with significant event experience in executing multifaceted activities to the highest level and with precise attention to detail.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support administrative tasks for regular meetings with the client and agency team—covering agendas, actions, and follow-ups
Event Management
  • Take direction from the Account Director
  • Plan, create, develop, and execute integrated events from initial concept to post-event analysis and reconciliation, ensuring they align with the client’s brand guidelines and objectives
  • Manage all elements of the events, including but not limited to ticket sourcing, venue research, catering requirements, transport requirements, cultural tours, talent appearances, scheduling, business content requirements, and all operational documentation requirements for the on-site event team
  • Support on all Health & Safety deliverables and requirements, including creating risk assessments, obtaining third-party documentation, and creating the Event Safety Plan for events
  • Oversee the production of creative and digital assets, and ensure the highest quality standards
  • Create written documents, including welcome letters, event briefing packs, post-event reports, and ROI documents
  • Carry out day-to-day operations related to events, including working to agency standard operating procedures and templates
  • Organise pre-event briefings with the internal onsite event team, contractors, and third-party suppliers
  • Organise host briefing meetings for client market hosts attending the event
  • Organising merchandise and gift fulfilment
  • Liaise with suppliers and agencies
Budget Management
  • Draft event budgets for market enquiries under the direction of the Account Director
  • Source third-party quotes, ensuring cost efficiencies are made where possible, whilst maintaining quality
  • Ensure approved budgets are adhered to
  • Support with completion of post-event reconciliation
Event Analysis
  • Gather and analyse feedback and operational metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and actionable insights
  • Organise post-event wash-up meetings to align with our continual improvement objective

Why Join Us?

At Ignition, you’ll be part of a collaborative agency working at the forefront of global motorsport sponsorship, leading one of our flagship accounts while developing your career within an ambitious and supportive team.

Company Overview

Born as a motorsport and automotive marketing agency in 2013, we honed our skills in the fast-paced, technical, competitive world of racing. This drove us to provide solutions to tight, immovable deadlines and deliver to a high standard on time. Teamwork was the only way to succeed, and creative problem-solving became second nature. All good stuff, right? So why should these qualities be limited to motorsport and automotive marketing? We realised our approach would add value to businesses from other industries. So we grew. Our creativity grew. Our team grew. Our ambitions grew. But not our egos. No. We’re decent people doing work we love. And doing it well. As an independent agency, we won’t hold you to ransom with heavy retainers. We believe in finding a way of working that suits everyone. And we think that’s why so many of our clients have been with us for years.
