We seek an Account Manager to nurture day-to-day client relationships and drive campaign delivery with high standards. You will generate coverage, manage media and influencer relationships, and ensure events and activations run on brief, on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PR (agency or in-house) or related field.
• Strong network of UK journalists/influencers is a plus.
• Ability to craft clear, compelling pitches and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day client contact and manage expectations with professionalism.
• Support development and execution of integrated PR strategies across earned media, influencer, social and events.
• Generate high-quality coverage across print, digital, broadcast and social platforms.
• Own media relations and maintain relationships with key journalists and influencers.
• Lead planning and delivery of press events, launches, trips and press days.
• Collaborate with social and digital teams to ensure campaigns are integrated and amplified.
• Spot opportunities that benefit clients and PURPLE.
• Monitor coverage, brand placement and reporting to ensure on-brand activity.
• Contribute to new business activity, including proposals and pitches.
• Line manage and support junior team members to help them meet targets.

Role Overview: As Account Manager, you will support Account Directors while taking ownership of day-to-day client relationships and campaign delivery. You will play a key role in generating coverage, managing media and influencer relationships, delivering events, and ensuring campaigns are executed to the highest standard - on brief, on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key day-to-day client contact, managing expectations with confidence and professionalism
• Support the development and execution of integrated PR strategies across earned media, influencer, social and events
• Generate high-quality coverage across print, digital, broadcast and social platforms
• Own media relations, building and maintaining strong relationships with key journalists and influencers
• Lead the planning and delivery of press events, launches, trips and press days (small to large scale)
• Work closely with social and digital teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated and amplified
• Spot cultural, media and influencer opportunities that benefit both clients and PURPLE
• Monitor coverage, brand placement and reporting to ensure all activity is on-brand and impactful
• Contribute to new business activity, including proposals and pitch participation
• Line manage and support junior team members, helping them meet targets and develop their skills
• Act as a brand ambassador and expert across Beauty & Wellbeing

Skills and Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in PR (agency or relevant in-house role; adjacent industries considered)
• Strong understanding of the UK media landscape and established press and influencer contacts
• Proven experience delivering integrated PR campaigns across media, influencer and events
• Strategic and creative thinker with excellent writing and presentation skills
• Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Confident communicator with strong client-handling skills and sound judgement
• Ability to identify and maximize communication opportunities across multiple platforms
• Comfortable working with media and social monitoring tools and Microsoft Office
