Job summary

ProTalent Limited in Norwich is seeking an accounts-focused Account Manager to manage a portfolio of clients and act as the main point of contact. You will prepare year-end accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105, handle CT600s and SA100s, and ensure compliance including MTD for Income Tax.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/MAAT or finalist required or equivalent.
• Solid UK accountancy practice background.
• Confident with accounts, corporation tax and SA100s.
• Comfortable leading client meetings and owning relationships.
• Commercially aware: time recording, WIP and billing.
• Experience working with FreeAgent, Xero or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Looking after your own portfolio of clients as their main point of contact.
• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
• Preparing corporation tax computations, CT600s and self-assessment returns.
• Keeping clients compliant, including MTD for Income Tax.
• Agreeing a written tax plan with each company and director client every year.
• Running client meetings by video and spotting where clients need extra advice.
• Reviewing junior colleagues' work and helping them develop.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
