The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and experience in the investment management industry. Threesixty is a leading UK-based provider of compliance, regulatory, and business-support services for financial advice firms and we are looking for an account manager to join the team.

We offer practical guidance, training, research, and helpdesk support to help advisers manage regulatory responsibilities, strengthen governance, and operate more efficiently.

Role overview
  • An Account Manager is responsible for developing long‑term relationships with our clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders to maintain and nurture strong relationships.
  • You will act as the client advocate, ensuring their needs are fully understood and met through close collaboration within internal teams. This role requires a proactive and driven individual who brings energy, professionalism, and initiative to every client interaction.
  • You may assist with making sales calls, handling client feedback or complaints, analysing data, and continuously improving the overall client experience.
What you’ll do
  • Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with all key clients.
  • Identify and recommend services to meet clients’ evolving needs and support the implementation of agreed solutions.
  • Engage proactively with clients through regular contact and reviews, gathering feedback to enhance the company proposition and client outcomes.
  • Manage delivery of outstanding services and act as an escalation point for operational issues.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements toward service and operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strategic third‑party relationships with providers to support client needs.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the threesixty Client Portal and modular compliance management system (trust), working closely with IT and Marketing to produce content and support functionality.
  • Maintain and update the Third‑Party Toolbox in the Client Portal.
  • Conduct data analysis to assess client engagement, competitor activity, and product usage to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver demonstrations of the Client portal to support Account Management and Sales Teams.
What you’ll need to succeed
Skills – Technical
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum qualification required).
  • Strong understanding of the adviser, investment management, and platform marketplace.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good understanding of the FCA regulatory framework (SYSC, COBS, T&Cs, Conflicts of Interest, Complaints) is advantageous.

Work Location

Our office is in Wythenshawe and the team works from there 3 days per week.
