Job description

We're looking for a proactive and commercially driven Account Manager to join our growing SME team, managing a portfolio of small and medium business accounts to maximise growth, strengthen relationships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As an Account Manager, you'll take full ownership of a portfolio of SME business accounts, building trusted relationships and ensuring every customer is trading to or above their potential. You'll act as a strategic partner to your clients, identifying opportunities to grow volume and improve profitability. Interested? Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of SME accounts to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  • Conducting regular account reviews, including pricing and volume analysis, to maximise performance.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships through regular calls, virtual meetings, and site visits.
  • Proactively identifying sales opportunities and promoting Evri's full range of services, including Next Day, International, and new product offerings.
  • Preparing detailed reports on account performance, highlighting opportunities, risks, and action plans.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service to customers.
  • Monitoring churn and working to retain and grow customer accounts.
  • Ensuring all CRM data is accurate and up to date to support business reporting and forecasting.
  • Handling customer issues or complaints effectively, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and promotions to drive engagement and cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Account Management, ideally within logistics, delivery, or e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of commercial performance, operational cost, and profitability (P&L).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • The ability to work independently, managing your own workload and targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with great attention to detail.
