Let’s get straight to the point: we’re not looking for a “sales ninja” or a “rockstar.” We need a UK Sales Account Manager who knows the B2B food ingredients game and knows it well.

Who are we?

PreGel is a global food ingredient player, particularly well-known in the pastry, ice cream, and café markets. We’re not new to this—we’ve been doing it for a while. But now we’re looking for someone to help us grow our presence in the UK even more.

What’s the job?

You’ll manage the UK sales across the Midlands, from finding new customers to keeping our existing ones happy. You’ll dig into market research, analyse margins, and report back to HQ. And yes, there’s travel—so if you’re not keen on hitting the road (or the sky), this isn’t for you.

You’ll also work closely with the Sales Management team to ensure you’re aligned on commercial strategies. In short, you’ll bridge what’s happening on the ground and what’s happening at HQ.

Here’s what we’re looking for
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in the food sector. If you’ve worked with pastry or ice cream ingredients, even better.
  • You know your stuff regarding market surveys, margin analysis, and customer management.
  • Fluent in English. Know Italian? That’s a bonus.
  • You're comfortable with Microsoft Office and can handle PowerPoint like a pro (because, let’s face it, you’ll be doing a few presentations).
  • Flexibility, proactivity, and a love for working with people. If you prefer working in a silo, this probably isn’t your gig.
