Job summary

IXL Learning, the UK-based arm of the US edtech leader, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to develop and manage relationships with school administrators across the UK from our London office. You will drive renewals, expansions, and customer engagement throughout the life cycle, coordinating with field sales to hit strategic goals.

You are a proactive, highly organized communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills, strong presentation abilities, and a track record of exceeding goals

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree.
• 3+ years in Account Management/Customer Success or inside sales with 5+ years total experience.
• Classroom experience or related educational field preferred.
• Exceptional communication, written and verbal skills.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for renewals including expansions and all transactional components.

• Track customer activities and opportunities in Salesforce.

Job description

In this role you will be developing and managing relationships with school administrators across the UK to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer life-cycle. You will be responsible for project managing your accounts from an internal and customer facing perspective to include leveraging internal resources to provide best in class service for the accounts that you manage. You will handle Tutoring renewals, expansions, customer retention and engagement activities in assigned territory. You will collaborate and work closely with your field sales counterparts to develop and execute towards strategic goals. To be successful in this role, you must be proactive, well organized and extremely personable, ensuring strategic communication touchpoints for multiple accounts. You possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and you are a strong presenter. We are looking for a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated with outstanding people skills and integrity. This is a full-time position that requires you to be in our London, England, office on Old Street.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide the best customer experience and maximize product usage and engagement
• Effectively communicate new product enhancements and benefits to existing customers via phone calls and video conferences
• Conduct regular territory review meetings with internal stakeholders to communicate general territory health, trends, including changes to strategic direction
• Accurately track all customer related activities, communication and opportunities in salesforce.com
• Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
• BA/BS Degree
• 3+ years in Account Management/Customer Success, Renewal Sales or Inside Sales with 5+ years of work experience overall
• Classroom experience and/or a related educational field preferred
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong presentation skills
• Energetic self-starter with a track record of exceeding goals and who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
• MS Office, Google Suite computer skills. SalesForce experience a plus
