The Role
As an Account Manager/ Customer Sales Executive, you'll act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of buyers, nurturing relationships, understanding their needs, and helping them succeed in every sale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Account Management: Own and manage a portfolio of buyer accounts, ensuring each one receives consistent communication, tailored support, and proactive follow-ups.
- Relationship Building: Develop meaningful, long-term relationships with buyers, gaining a deep understanding of their purchasing patterns, challenges, and goals.
- Buyer Engagement: Proactively contact buyers to promote upcoming auctions, encourage attendance, and support online and proxy bidding.
- Customer Retention: Maintain and grow the existing buyer base through exceptional service, regular check‑ins, and personalised engagement strategies.
- Onsite Support: Be visible during auction days, engaging buyers face‑to‑face, supporting registration, gathering feedback, and strengthening connections.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver targeted campaigns and improve the overall buyer journey.
- Insight and Reporting: Provide feedback, buyer insights, and local reports to help shape future engagement strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Performance: Consistently meet targets and KPIs related to buyer engagement, attendance, and account growth.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in account management, client relationship management, telesales or customer service.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Confidence working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Drive to meet and exceed engagement and retention targets.
- IT literacy across Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge or experience in the automotive or remarketing industry.
