Key Account Manager – Straumann UK
Driven Key Account Manager responsible for leading account strategy and building strong relationships with dental professionals across the United Kingdom.
Primary Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts in the dental industry, acting as the primary point of contact for key clients.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for business expansion within existing key accounts and pursue new business opportunities by mapping and understanding the dentistry market in the UK.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with company objectives and client needs; create comprehensive, measurable business plans and review progress to recommend improvements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal departments (sales, marketing, product development, customer support) to align on customer experience, provide regular updates, reports, and presentations.
- Technology Integration: Advocate and facilitate adoption of advanced dental solutions such as practice management, workflow, and digital innovations within customer operations.
- Market Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to position Straumann’s solutions for competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in consultative selling, especially with large enterprise customers.
- Consulting Experience: Ability to provide strategic advice to customers optimizing practice operations and patient outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing relationships at all levels including C‑Suite executives.
- Technological Proficiency: Strong understanding of practice management solutions and relevant technologies, and ability to communicate their benefits and integration.
- Results‑Driven: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth through effective account management.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the dental industry, market dynamics, regulatory environment, and key players.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus).
