About the Role

Whether it’s a sandwich, a burrito, or groceries, the Uber Eats team builds technology to connect people with what they want, when and where they want it. Our Sales and Account Management teams are on the frontline introducing restaurant partners to Uber Eats and partnering with restaurants to grow our businesses together.

Our field sales team is focused on expanding Uber Eats’ presence by bringing the best local independent restaurants onto the platform. As part of the Northern Acquisition team, focusing on the North West, you’ll have the chance to directly impact the restaurant selection on Uber Eats by building strong relationships and setting partners up for success. If you’re passionate about food, love meeting new people, and enjoy closing deals, this is your chance to make a real difference.

What you’ll do
  • Curate and own your sales pipeline from a named list of high priority targets, utilising your local knowledge to expand the restaurant selection available for eaters across different cuisine types.
  • Close deals with restaurant partners in the North by leading the entire end-to-end sales process and helping them grow as a business.
  • Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our restaurant partners, including sustainable economics for both parties.
  • Clearly communicate the value of Uber Eats and its newest products and projects to help our restaurants' partners reach new goals.
  • Help craft and redesign processes to ensure UberEats can move quickly and succeed at a large scale.
How you’ll spend your time
  • 60% on outbound prospecting, including cold-calling, emailing, and in-person meetings.
  • 20% on closing and negotiating new partnerships to bring on a diverse selection of restaurants.
  • 20% on collaborating with internal teams to build new processes and solve partner challenges.
What you'll have
  • At least 1 year of professional experience with proven experience in sales
  • Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce, to manage sales activities and pipelines.
Bonus points for
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the food delivery or hospitality industry
  • A resourceful, persistent, and highly motivated attitude, with a relentless drive to achieve goals and overcome objections.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
