Job Description

The Account Executive South - Country Sports will represent my client's brands and products in the industry, maximising profitable commercial opportunities with key retail accounts and building long term strategic customer relationships. The Account Executive, covering the large southern territory will be based in the field, driving commercial relationships with wholesalers and distributors of my client's brand - attending industry events, fairs and local and important events related to the customers. Travel into Europe to attend global sales meetings, as well as wider industry events will form part of the role also. Once per month in the UK office for sales meetings, taking on regular product learning sessions to stay in top of technical knowledge of products and ranges. Make recommendations internally and externallty on products, services etc. also. Additional responsibilities will be laid out in the full job spec for those relevant candidates.

The Successful Applicant

The Account Executive South - Country Sports will come with the following skills and experiences:

  • a track record in a commercial position ideally in the country sports industry
  • experience of the retail environment within said industry
  • strong sales and growth mentality, passionate about building strong relationships
  • experience of using CRM as part of their role or developing CRM further
  • based in Southern England and able to travel extensively across the region
  • excellent IT skills
  • strong presentation, organisational and financial skills and acumen
  • very proactive, go getter
  • self-starter, loves being part of the team but also experienced to work remotely too
