Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to a join a dynamic, growing commercial insurance brokerage with the chance to inherit a loyal existing client portfolio (currently around £150k income). Our client has an excellent office location but is also able to offer a flexible working arrangement with a nice home / office balance.

The existing client portfolio is made up of a variety of exclusively commercial clients ranging in size and technical complexity, some smaller and straight forward, some larger and more challenging cases.

You will be fully supported by an excellent team of brokers and account handlers with access to all major markets as well as specialist schemes and Lloyds based insurers; there is also a dedicated claims team to ensure the highest quality of all round service is provided to clients.

This role could suit 2 types of individual; perhaps you are an experienced account executive looking for a change of environment and not wanting to start with a blank sheet. This role would give you a client base to work from.

This role could also be suitable for a lesser experienced junior account executive or an experienced commercial broker looking to move into a full account executive position and keen to be given the opportunity to develop your career with quality business.

It is essential that applicants have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance and who are currently or are willing to study towards CII qualifications. Previous Acturis experienced would also be desirable (not a prerequisite).
