Account Executive for Strategic Accounts. Permanent Full-Time.
Remote – US or Canada
Work Location: Flexible within North America. Our head office is in Vancouver, Canada. We are open to hiring candidates from all states and provinces. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada or the USA and willing to travel for this role.
Travel: This role will require regular travel to key accounts in the US, tradeshows, and to our office in Vancouver, Canada.

Who We’re Looking For
As the Account Executive for Strategic Accounts, you’ll be a key driver of Native’s wholesale growth across the US and Canada. You’ll manage and grow relationships with major retail partners, identify new opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver results.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management
- Lead and grow key wholesale accounts in the US region, while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with partners through exceptional service and tailored solutions.
- Spend time in the field with key accounts to strengthen partnerships and uncover growth opportunities.
- Seasonal Planning & Customer Engagement
- Run seasonal line presentations and guide customers through assortment planning and market preparation.
- Support product trainings, seminars, trunk shows, and in-store activations to elevate the customer experience.
- Manage in-season assortment plans, process orders and re-orders, and oversee RTVs to ensure sell-through success.
- Sales Strategy & Analytics
- Analyze account performance and deliver regular reports, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Contribute to the development of business analytics and KPIs that drive both account-level and company-wide goals.
- Manage multiple dropship accounts and leverage the model to drive incremental sales.
- Market Development & Brand Representation
- Act as an ambassador for the Native Shoes brand, representing the company at trade shows, sales workshops, and key account meetings.
- Scout and develop new strategic accounts to expand Native’s footprint in the US market.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, other Account Executives, and the Global Sales team to ensure accountability for growth targets.
- Collaboration & Relationship Building
- Work closely with internal teams to plan customer retention and recruitment strategies that increase wholesale revenue.
- Maintain professional, collaborative relationships across all departments, aligned with Native’s values and culture.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5+ years in account management, buying, merchandising, or planning within the wholesale/retail industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong retail math skills—comfortable with sell-through, on-hand, and inventory analysis.
- Experience managing major accounts in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
- Collaborative, approachable, and proactive—listens well, takes initiative, and acts with curiosity.
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, customer meetings, and team events (around once a month).
Nice to Have
- Footwear industry experience and passion for sneaker culture.
- MBA or advanced business education.
Compensation
This role is expected to be compensated between $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience and job-related qualifications, with additional earning potential through performance-based incentives tied to sales results.
