Stride Resource Management in Warrington seeks an experienced Commercial Account Executive to take over an established book with immediate substance. You will inherit around £200,000 of income across PI, Fleet, Motor Trade and other commercial risks.
You will target about £36,000 income per year in new business while growing the book through existing networks and referrals. The role offers autonomy, a clear upside for performance, and a comprehensive support structure.
You are an experienced commercial Account Executive with a strong track record of winning and retaining business, and you want your next move to give you an established client portfolio rather than asking you to build everything from zero.
You will inherit around £200,000 of income across a genuinely broad cross-class commercial book, covering everything from smaller SME clients through to businesses spending £100,000 to £200,000 in premium. The portfolio includes Professional Indemnity, Fleet, Motor Trade, Commercial Combined and wider commercial risks, giving you plenty of variety and scope to develop relationships further.
You will take over an established book following the departure of the previous Account Executive, so there is meaningful income and a client base in place from day one.
Alongside protecting and developing those relationships, you will have a realistic new business target of around £3,000 income per month, or £36,000 annually. The expectation is that you will grow the portfolio steadily through your existing network, referrals and opportunities generated from within the wider business.
There is also genuine upside for stronger performers, with enhanced new business earnings available when you materially outperform target.

The role is office based in Warrington, with full autonomy over your diary. When you are out meeting clients or attending appointments, you will manage your time accordingly rather than being tied unnecessarily to the office.
