Job summary

Cofton Holidays is seeking an Accommodation Cleaning Team Member for a permanent role in the Exeter area. The position covers Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays with a total 13.5 hours per week and hourly pay up to £13.00.

You will join a supportive team, maintain high cleanliness standards, and report to the Accommodation & Cleaning Manager. Experience in a similar role is advantageous and free uniform and on-site parking are provided.

• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and checklists
• Experience in a cleaning or hospitality role advantageous

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest accommodation to high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to complete tasks efficiently
• Ensure turnover times are met for each room
• Report maintenance issues or damage promptly
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and company procedures
• Work safely to protect guests and colleagues
• Complete relevant records and paperwork when required
• Participate in training and development opportunities
• Support other areas of Accommodation & Cleaning as needed
• Contribute positively to guest experience

Working alongside your colleagues and reporting to the Accommodation & Cleaning Manager or Supervisor, you'll help maintain the high standards that Cofton Holidays is known for.

• Preparing guest accommodation to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Following cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Ensuring accommodation is ready within set turnaround times.
• Reporting maintenance issues or damage promptly.
• Following all Health & Safety, COSHH, and company procedures.
• Working safely and responsibly to protect guests, colleagues, and yourself.
• Completing relevant records and paperwork where required.
• Participating in training and development opportunities.
• Supporting other areas of the Accommodation & Cleaning department when needed.
• Providing a positive contribution to the wider team and guest experience.
