Overview

Accident Repair Centre Office/Administration Assistant
Premier Motors, Isle of Wight

REPORTING TO: Accident Repair Centre Manager & Accident Repair Centre Office/Administration Supervisor

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as an Office/Administration Assistant at our Premier Motors site in Newport.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and assisting customers face to face.
  • Answering telephone calls and directing them as required.
  • To ensure effective work provider and customer contact during the repair journey.
  • To create and manage job cards, using ‘in house’ systems.
  • To ensure accurate records are kept and updated as required.
  • To manage the Accident Repair Centre Courtesy Vehicle fleet (service intervals & mileages).
  • To maintain and update all Accident Repair Centre specific systems.
  • To carry out additional tasks, ad-hoc, as requested.
  • To handover customer vehicles once completed and take payment when required.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements
  • To be helpful and approachable.
  • Previous customer facing experience.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Have a full clean driving licence.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a close-knit team.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to remain composed during stressful situations.
  • Computer literate, especially familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Organised, good time keeping and able to manage documentation and administration processes.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to new tasks readily.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral).
Hours of Work
  • 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday i.e. 40 hours per week. 1 hour for lunch (unpaid)
