Job summary

NET Recruit partners with a large, established organisation to recruit an Access Controls Lead for Finance Controls & Governance. The role blends finance, technology, risk and assurance to strengthen access governance across core finance systems and supporting tech.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Finance processes and IT general controls.
• Experience with Segregation of Duties and privileged access management.
• Proven SAP GRC Access Control experience and risk analysis.
• Ability to analyse access risks and coordinate remediation across teams.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance or internal controls activities.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee IT general controls related to user access and privileged access governance.
• Operate SAP GRC Access Control processes, including workflows and provisioning controls.
• Monitor SAP GRC workflows to ensure proper approvals and evidence.
• Oversee periodic reviews of privileged and sensitive access using SAP GRC tools.
• Ensure access controls are designed, documented, executed and evidenced to audit standard.
• Maintain governance standards across role owners, risk owners and operators.
• Support remediation of control deficiencies and audit findings.
• Govern SoD and Sensitive Access framework across SAP S/4HANA and connected systems.
• Collaborate with Business and IT leads to review SAP GRC risk analyses at user, role level.
• Analyse SoD conflicts and define remediation actions with stakeholders.
• Monitor sensitive access risks and secure required approvals and reviews.
• Review high/critical access requests and document governance decisions.
• Maintain and enhance SAP GRC ruleset, including SoD risks and permissions.
• Keep mitigating controls under SAP GRC up-to-date with business justifications.
• Perform ruleset analysis for new transactions and system changes.
• Support testing and validation of SAP GRC controls in projects/releases.
• Produce SAP GRC reports and dashboards for monitoring and audit needs.
• Coordinate access governance evidence for internal/external audits.
• Own the User Access Review process and ensure timely completion.
• Perform control self-assessments and remediate gaps and findings.
• Maintain comprehensive control documentation and audit evidence.
• Act as key contact for audit activities related to access governance controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Risk and Assurance to support control environments.
