A leading technology firm in Caerphilly is seeking an Access Control and Gate Automation Supervisor to support their team. The ideal candidate will supervise Electricians, manage supplier communications, and ensure project readiness. A salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits including a car allowance and pension scheme is offered. Experience in a similar role is essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Service Engineer role.
  • Experience in managing/supervising a team.
  • Good knowledge in Access Control and Automatic Gates.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide technical support to a small team of Electricians.
  • Lead and attend meetings with Suppliers, Clients and Internal Customers.
  • Liaise with Suppliers to ensure availability of materials for all projects.
  • Carry out Risk Assessments on automatic gates.
  • Involve in installations and fault finding on gate and access control systems.

A renowned manufacturer of special-purpose equipment, with a long-standing reputation and national presence, is embarking on an exciting new programme of development. To support this growth, they are seeking an Access Control and Gate Automation Supervisor.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide technical support to a small team of Electricians
  • Lead and attend meetings with Suppliers, Clients and Internal Customers (Contract managers/directors)
  • Liaise with Suppliers to ensure availability of materials required for all projects.
  • Carry out Risk Assessments on automatic gates.
  • The role will also involve carrying out installations where required & fault finding on gate and access control systems so a 'hands on approach' is essential.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working mainly with large contractors in a Service Engineer role
  • Experience in managing/supervising a team.
  • Good Knowledge in Access Control and Automatic Gates
