This role involves supervising a team, managing supplier interactions, and conducting installations and fault findings on systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in supervising teams and knowledge of Access Control and Automatic Gates. A salary of £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Service Engineer role overseeing contractors.
  • Proven track record in supervising a team effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with installations and fault finding on access control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide technical support to a team of Electricians.
  • Lead meetings with Suppliers, Clients, and Internal Customers.
  • Liaise with Suppliers for material availability.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments on automatic gates.
  • Perform installations and fault finding when necessary.

A renowned manufacturer of special-purpose equipment, with a long-standing reputation and national presence, is embarking on an exciting new programme of development. To support this growth, they are seeking an Access Control and Gate Automation Supervisor.

Role & Responsibilities

This role is a huge opportunity for someone with drive and ambition to come into the business and significantly grow this exciting new expansion for the Electrical Department.

  • Supervise and provide technical support to a small team of Electricians
  • Lead and attend meetings with Suppliers, Clients and Internal Customers (Contract managers/directors)
  • Liaise with Suppliers to ensure availability of materials required for all projects.
  • Carry out Risk Assessments on automatic gates.

The role will also involve carrying out installations where required & fault finding on gate and access control systems so a 'hands on approach' is essential.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working mainly with large contractors in a Service Engineer role
  • Experience in managing/supervising a team.
  • Good Knowledge in Access Control and Automatic Gates
